Recap of ISO 20000 Seminar: Mapping IT Value and Business Success

The informative event was held on 25 May 2012 at Novotel Century Hong Kong Hotel, Wanchai, Hong Kong. It was delighted that there were 88 participants coming from Hong Kong, Mainland China, and Macau, attended and shared experiences.
The session started with an introduction on itSMF Hong Kong Chapter by Mr. Eddie Tsui, Director of Marketing and Programs. It was followed by Mr. Ian Whyte’s presentation which covered a comparison between 2005 edition and 2011 edition, recommendations on scoping, and the latest certification status. After that, Mr. William Wong presented common findings in ISO/IEC 20000 audits and recommended implementation approach. In the last presentation, Mr. Peter Miao shared HKHS’ experiences in running ISO/IEC 20000 IT Service Management System and the key success factors of implementation.
