Workshop on Application Management: Recap
 
"The time is never enough"
Another interesting workshop was successfully held on 3 May 2010. Participants had a lively discussion on the topic.

Ms Juliana Li, Director of Strategic Development, expressed after the workshop "Once again, the workshop showed that we should organize more professional development events with group discussion. I can see the participants are very enthusiastic in sharing their ideas and experience over the table and the time is never enough. "

 
 
Mr. Mark Smalley, workshop leader, mentioned, "One of the participants made the insightful comment that the relationship with the business is quite an emotional topic for IT people."

2010 Annual General Meeting
 
 
New Chairman elected
The itSMF HK 2010 Annual General Meeting (AGM) was held on 28th May 2010 (Friday). Chairman's report and Financial reports were presented.

Mr. H P Suen stepped down from the chairmanship. Mr. Eric Lung, formerly Honourable Treasurer, was elected to take up the chairman.

The newly elected chair, Mr. Eric Lung, said after the meeting, "This is my honour to have the chance to take up this challenging role. With all your (council members') support and contribution, I'm confident that this will be another year of success of the Chapter."

HKPC Information Security Showcase
14 July 2010 at HKCEC
Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC) is going to organize the Information Security Showcase (formerly known as Information Security & IT Service Management Conference) at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on 14 July 2010. The Showcase aims to provide a broad outlook on the latest cyber attack trends as well as the defence strategy and mechanism in Information Security and IT Service Management. Experts from the industry will be invited to share their experience and knowledge in the Showcase.
