With incredible voluntary effort from a group of enthusiastic IT professionals, the organization of itSMF Hong Kong Chapter was established on 20th January, 2005, and bear its global affiliation with its headquarter based in UK. With its growth of membership body and competence in the future our aim is to provide a common space for ITSM practitioners in Hong Kong and its neighborhood territories to share and exchange knowledge and know-how at different facets of IT service management, including the continuing adoption, development and refinement of the ITIL process management framework as its core competence.

| itSMF is a not-for-profit organization truly run by its members. The executive committee, called as "The Council", consists of a group of enthusiastic IT professionals offering voluntarily their time and effort to manage the on-going operations of the Chapter. The Council consists of the following positions:
