The Professional Development Sub-committee aims at supporting sustaining development of IT Service Management profession of our members. The taskforce runs various professional development events including Seminars, Workshops and Site Visits offering members opportunities of enhancing their knowledge as well as exchanging practical knowledge with other ITSM practitioners.

Marketing and Programs Sub-committee
Arousing awareness and adoption of IT Service Management in the local IT industry is the prime objective of Marketing and Programs sub-committee. Organizing the itSMF Hong Kong Annual Conference is the major project of the taskforce.

Knowledge Management Sub-committee
The purpose of the Knowledge Management Sub-committee is to boost and facilitate sharing of ITSM knowledge across the industry. Online Forum, Newsletter (see Newsletter Editorial Board), Knowledge Library and publications are major deliverables of the working group.
Director of Knowledge and Web Management is the chair of the sub-committee.
Membership Sub-committee
The objective of the Membership sub-committee is to build up membership of the Chapter. The committee holds different types of events including Members networking functions and Survey.

Strategic Development Sub-committee
The Strategic Development sub-committee's emphasis is on strategic planning and exploring the way forward for chapter's growth from a macro and long-term perspective.

Newsletter Editorial Board
Under the Knowledge Management Sub-committee, the Newsletter Editorial Board is responsible for publishing the Chapter's Newsletter, itSMart. itSMart is a quarterly covering updates on ITSM industry, local or regional success stories, Chapter activities, development on the ITSM profession, and so forth.
Director of Communications is the Chief Editor of the Newsletter.
