e-Bookstore Procedure

Welcome to the e-bookshop of itSMF Hong Kong Chapter! Our e-bookshop will provide you with a fully automated book purchase experience. All members of Hong Kong Chapter or Visitor will only have to follow a simple procedure to place their order:

1. You can visit the e-bookshop through clicking the button above, or go visiting the e-bookstore website through entering its URL directly from the internet browser from anywhere you want
2. At the e-bookshop, first-time visitor will be required to create a new account, where you may enter your membership information of the Hong Kong chapter. You will then become a registered customer of the bookshop. It is important that you register as a member of the Hong Kong Chapter (i.e., in the Member of itSMF Chapter field of My Account Information page, select "Hong Kong"). This enables VHP, within its contractual binding with the Hong Kong Chapter, to support your order
3. You can also register as an independent customer if you are not members of itSMF Hong Kong but you would not be entitled for the purchase discount
4. You can then browse and place orders on books, with their introductory brief and list price made available to you at your fingertips.
5. After clicking the "Check Out" button, please input itSMF4d to the discount code field. This will allows members to receive 40% off the titles, excluding shipping.
6. A record of your purchase will be forwarded to the Hong Kong chapter for future reference, whereas your order will be processed by VHP and delivered to your designated mailing address
7. For returning visitors you will not be required to open an account again. Instead you will need to enter your login ID and password and then start placing your orders. Please keep your login ID and password in a safe place after your first registration

Delivery Schedule

Once your order has been placed and payment is confirmed, you can expect your order will be delivered to your mailing address in no more than 10 working days (subject to unforeseen postal events outside the control of VHP).

Bulk Orders

If you believe you will place a large order with no less than 50 titles and with a cost not less than HKD10,000, you may be entitled for further discount on top of 15%. itSMF Hong Kong Chapter can provide a special voucher code for your bulk orders. Condition of Sales

1. All book price, delivery service charge (if applicable) and discount offer are subject to the sales policies of VHP. The Hong Kong Chapter does not bear any business linkage or influence on those policies
2. All processing of orders, payments and delivery will be handled directly by VHP for the purchasers through information exchanged between the two parties
3. The Hong Kong Chapter will, in reasonable effort, assist the purchasers in resolving issues related to particular transaction with VHP. However, the Chapter would not be liable to any consequential damage and loss due to the failure of VHP, or any third parties, in completing the transactions
